As a design firm, we work to create unique solutions for every project. Our practice spans a broad spectrum of commissions ranging from architecture to interiors to graphic design. It is our hope that our work reveals space as much as it creates it, whether through the renovation of a Harlem carriage house on 133rd Street, or through the rediscovery of a historic house on Bell Street.
Maria Alataris, AIA founded maa designs in 2001 after more than a decade of experience working for some of the world's most prominent architects including Richard Meier and Partners and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in London and New York.
